AIM CCI is dedicated to addressing severe maternal morbidity and preventable maternal mortality among pregnant and postpartum women outside the hospital and birthing facility settings. AIM CCI’s goal is to address disparities and improve maternal health outcomes by bringing communities voices to the spotlight and using equity as our framework. Our First Round of Pilot Sites

AIM CCI is currently working with Atlanta, GA, Grand Rapids, MI, and New Orleans, LA, pilot sites to test the first non-hospital, community-based maternal safety bundle. Each site is at the beginning stages of the implementation process as of early 2021. In order to function as a collaborative community, each of the pilot site leaders are engaging their stakeholders to build strong foundation to ensure sustainable workgroup function that supports successful implementation of maternal safety bundles.
